Bespoke residential construction

We guide the construction of high-end homes for private clients, from early planning through to the finished home. Every build is delivered by a Master Builder who is a Licensed Building Practitioner, with Python overseeing quality, programme and communication.

A considered process, from first conversation to handover.

Building a high-end home is a long relationship. Our consulting process keeps decisions clear, costs understood and quality protected at every stage.

    Conversation

    We begin by listening: your brief, your site, your timeline and how you want to live in the home. We tell you plainly what is realistic.

  2. 02

    Planning and design coordination

    We work alongside your architect or designer, or help you find one, testing the design against buildability, budget and programme before it is locked in.

  3. 03

    Scope, budget and builder

    We define scope and allowances, then engage a Master Builder who is a Licensed Building Practitioner, matched to the home. Pricing is explained clearly and reviewed with you.

  4. 04

    Consents and preparation

    Consents, engineering, specification and programme are coordinated so that construction begins with the important decisions already made.

  5. 05

    Construction oversight

    We oversee the build on your behalf: programme, quality, variations and communication, with regular updates and inspection of key stages.

  6. 06

    Handover

    A careful final inspection, completion documentation and a clear handover, so you move into the home with confidence.

04 Craftsmanship & detail

Material integrity.

Quality is decided in the detail: how stone is laid, how a joint is set, how timber meets plaster. We specify with care and inspect as the work progresses.

Python Group is a New Zealand business specialising in high-end residential construction. We guide private clients through the planning, design coordination and building of exceptional homes, and we undertake selected developments of our own.

Our role is to bring clarity to a complex process. We bring architects, designers and Master Builders together around a single standard, and we protect that standard from the first sketch to the final handover.

We are deliberately selective, so that every home receives real attention. We build only with Master Builders who are Licensed Building Practitioners, and we communicate plainly at every stage.
